Lecler Ingredients. Number One: Hyaluronic acid
As we introduce our very exciting new skincare brand Lecler, we wanted to share more information with you about our long thought-over ingredients. After all, it’s important to know what you are putting on your skin.
First of all, we start with one of our key ingredients: Hyaluronic acid. I can already picture your eyes glazing over with the very mention of the term but we hope that this piece will give you a better indication of all the goodness that it is doing.
What is it?
Hyaluronic acid is naturally occurring in our bodies with around half of it residing in our skin. It has a unique capacity to retain moisture, which essentially means that it acts like a sponge in the skin holding vast amounts of water. It is this retention of moisture that helps tackle the ageing process as the skin becomes more supple and pliant. It helps our skin look more youthful as the outer layers of the skin are revitalised, softened and appear plumper. Improving the skin’s hydration, the appearance of fine lines on your face are reduced, so you can say goodbye to those premature wrinkles.
What else can it do for my skin?
Enhancing the moisture content in our skin isn’t the only thing that hyaluronic acid is good for. Our skin is easily weakened through elements like unprotected sun exposure and harsh skin care ingredients. Hyaluronic acid’s revitalising properties can help to reduce these issues.
Hyaluronic acid is not just to help target those with dry skin, it is actually wonderfully beneficial for all skin types. For those with oily skin, the lightweight texture prevents it from feeling like you’re adding anything too heavy on the skin. For those with sensitive skin, it is a very gentle way of offering long-lasting hydration.
Not only this, but it is fascinating that this multi-purpose ingredient can also provide an antioxidant defence against harsh weather conditions which is especially helpful for the encroaching winter months.
What makes Lecler special?
In having a thin face sheet that moulds to your face and 20 minutes to absorb, you are maximising the hydration for your skin. Lecler uses super small hyaluronic particles – smaller than your standard hyaluronic acid which allows them to suffuse deep into our skin for paramount rejuvenation and hydration.
